Prince (when he was named Prince) returns to WSVNRadio, with his 1980 release (and his third album of his early career), Dirty Mind. His second album, his self-titled release was a year before, and while listening to Dirty Mind, its a good continuation of his music, and from his previous album.

The title track has a late 1970s Disco atmosphere. "When You Were Mine" would be the most remembered hit, as it received good radio airplay. The next 3 songs could easily fit the self-titled release: "Do It All Night," "Gotta Broken Heart Again," "Uptown."

"Uptown" is a longer song, and is more funky, which would lead Prince's music into his future releases after 1980. "Head" is a great funky groove song, easily fitting a future release, 1999. Likewise, "Siter," and "PartuUp" are upbeat and funky, as this kind of music would be heard in Prince's future releases.
Prince's Dirty Mind is funky, grooving, and far better than the traditional Disco that would fade out as the 1980s decade began. Prince's early years were the best, until he would start clashing with his record company, and later suing websites for using his music, and changing his name to s aymbol. Recently, he would change his name back to his original, yet he still has his moments with the fans, the internet, and business affairs. All in all, he is a gifted performer, and although he continues recording, his earliest years were considered his best.
