Garth Brooks' Double Live was a popular 2-disc set, consisting of his best hits, recorded live. I've never been to a Garth Brooks concert, but I have heard that his concerts were extremely exceptional. An interesting note about this live set was that there were different CD artworks. They are now limited editions, and the copy of the artwork I have is from his Texas Stadium 1993 concerts.

There is a lot of energy throughout this set, not only from Garth himself, but along with the audience -- From the opening song, "Callin' Baton Rouge," the great-sounding tender ballads such as "Shameless," "Unanswered Prayers," (you can hear the audience singing along with Garth), the spiritual "We Shall Be Free." Guest star Steve Wariner helps on "Longneck Bottle," Trisha Yearwood on "Wild As The Wind." The first disc has 14 tracks, but 13 actual songs: Track 13 has a 7 seconds of live audience noises, as the track 14 is the actual song, "Tearin' It Up (And Burnin' It Down)"

Lots of energy from the artist and the audience, Double Live makes this live set enjoyable, and for those who attended Garth Brooks, or not, listeners can close their eyes, and visualize an excellent concert.
