July 22, 2008: The voting is over, and YOU have decided who are the BEST!
For 20 weeks, the voters, listeners, and online viewers of WSVNRadio.net were given the opportunity to vote which songs were the best from our Hall of Fame series. Throughout those 20 weeks, the voting was slow, while others were incredible. 20 Volumes voted, 20 winners determined... YOUR votes made Solarcade, The JuJuBees, Sheri Lynn, American Gypsy, Rude Rooster, Ganimead, Felicia Rosati, Walter Duda, The Tara Charles Band, Omeil, Richie Ray, Sherry K, Dream Catcha, Doug Mitchell, Sweet Crystal, The Rick Ray Band, Barry Fone, Just Megan, Deby Kelley, and Fair Warning the BEST from each of our Hall of Fame Volumes. We also have an Honorary Mention, as we learned that one of our artists passed away, Volume 19 artist Ernie Oldfield. As he was voted during the week of Volume 19, we decided to include him on our Best Of as a Memorial and Honorary Mention.
Volumes 1 through 20 will be placed back into our vaults, as we will only feature the winners of the Best Of, and promote future artists for Volumes 21 and beyond. We are proud to promote everyone from our first 20 volumes, and look forward to the next 20. We also have future projects involving all of our artists, as we look forward to continually promoting tomorrow's future music stars.
