Feedback -- The WSVNRadio Hall of Fame

We welcome feedback on our Hall of Fame Volumes!

From the NewArtistRadio (NAR) newsletter, 11/24/2002:
WSVN Radio By : Cindy Lu www.cindylucountry.com

NAR said WSVN Radio was looking for new artist’s submissions. I sent in my new single release, Guess I Didn’t See It Comin’, for consideration on their station. Not only did WSVNRadio play my song, they selected it as one of the songs on their new compilation CD, The WSVNRadio Hall of Fame, Volume 2. Please reiterate to all the NAR Artists to send their stuff in to WSVNRadio!

Our response:
That was so wonderful of you to send the kind words about us! Thanks again!!! God bless you... Have a great Thanksgiving!

Dear WSVNRadio,
No, thank YOU!!! I sent in a piece to New Artist Radio for their newsletter. A lot of folks send in leads, but you don't hear too much about results. I wanted all my fellow artists to know that WSVNRadio is one of those places that make things happen. We're all out here, chasing dreams, and sometimes, dreams really do come true.
So, again, thank YOU, WSVNRadio, for helping to bring a gal's dream to reality.
All my best to you and yours for a wonderful Thanksgiving! I plan on stuffing my face till I pop, then hit the treadmill like crazy on Friday. But I can't wait for Thursday!!!
Cindy Lu :)

Cool collection! Wonderful artists! Hear the stars of tomorrow today! (Disclaimer: one of my songs is included in this compilation.) Okay, seriously, this is an excellent sampler, with new artists who may remind you of White Zombie ("Take What You're Given" by Step 9), U2 ("When She Comes" by Solarcade), Boston ("Why" by Psych!), Garbage ("What About Love" by Bernadette McCallion), and many others. SounDoctrine's "Yoyo" could slide right into rotation on smooth jazz stations, and the pure pleasure of Breather's "Hyssop" makes you want to float away. Best of all, the vocals of Amanda Adams on "Master's Plan" are what you would expect to hear on hit songs that appear on thousands of radio stations. It is an honor to be included among such supremely talented new artists.

And WSVNRadio, which will be releasing it's Hall Of Fame Volume III CD on Feb. 18th, just sent me an advanced copy. "ONE WOMAN" from my cd "MEMORY MACHINE" is the 9th cut on this cd, and I think it sounds pretty good in this ecclectic mix. Like the radio station itself, this cd lives up to the slogan "Everything In Music". There is so much variety here, that there is almost certainly something for everyone. Sheri DiGiovanna's "As Far As I'll Go" is on disc 2 of this double cd, and I think her song also held up quite well in the mix. For the week of February 18th - Feb 24th, WSVN will be playing cuts from this cd (plus the jingle I composed) 24/7. To hear it on Live365 Internet Radio, go to WSVNRadio.com. Then click on Live365. Many thanks to DJ/Producer Eric, who must have spent countless hours putting this project together, not to mention mailing them out to us at his expense. Nice to know that there are radio stations who support independent as well as major label artists.
