    "Sheer Heart Attack"

Queen returns once again to the WSVNRadio website, with their 1974 release, Sheer Heart Attack. Like many albums, the title of the album in most cases would appear on the album. But the actual song "Sheer Heart Attack" would appear on the 1977 release, News Of The World. The biggest hit from this 1974 release was the classic "Killer Queen." Another song, "Now I'm Here," would become popular in later years, as Freddie Mercury and crew would perform this song at 1985's Live Aid.

Theatrical Rock best describes the album's opening song, "Brighton Rock," showcasing on the great guitar works of Brain May. "Tenement Funster," "Flick Of The Wrist" and "Lily Of The Valley" are songs incorporating a rock opera theme.

"In The Lap Of The Gods" is also a great theatrical piece, almost in the vein of Electric Light Orchestra. "Stone Cold Crazy" is more of a hard rocker, is a very short pleasant piece, where "Misfire" is another pleasant soft pop rocker. "Bring Back That Leroy Brown" has a ragtime feel.

"She Makes Me (Stormtrooper In Stilettos)" has a more progressive feel, "In The Lap Of The Gods Revisited" has the theatrical sound as before, and a 1991 bonus remix of "Stone Cold Crazy" ends the release, as it is just as rocking as the original.

Sheer Heart Attack has a theatrical rock opera atmosphere. It also has its moments. As it may not be as impressive as other Queen releases, there are some very well orchestration songs here. Repeated listens will help the album's entertainment value rise. Queen's albums have always been good to better. Sheer Heart Attack is no exception.
