Cindy Bradley "Unscripted"
Cindy Bradley is one today's newer Jazz instrumental artists. Provided by her horn, her talent has achieved her praise in her music, and also
reaching #1 on the Billboard Smooth Jazz charts. She currently has five #1 Smooth Jazz songs. Her most recent is this week: "Everyone But
You," from her 2017 release, Natural. Her 2011 release marks her debut here on WSVNRadio, Unscripted. And for Smooth Jazz lovers
and Jazz lovers in general, this is an album in excellence in Smooth Jazz music.
There are a total of 4 short interludes, leading into the next available song: Track #1 Interlude is a soft intro, starting off the album.
Interlude (3) sounds like the question "Are we on a train?" Interlude (8) has the old "flipping through the AM/FM radio dial." Interlude (12) is
soft-sounding, as this leads into the last two tracks of the album, in which they musically slow down the pace.
"Massive Transit" is one of Bradley's #1 songs to her credit. This track is a good "bumper" for radio DJs (bumper-an intro to a DJ's show
after a commercial break, or lead into another segment of the DJ's show.) There are many great songs here, defining the Smooth Jazz sound/style.
"Footprints" is upbeat. "You Don't Know What Love Is" is a good romantic mood setter. "Lifted" is a good relaxing track.
Smooth Jazz truly is defined on "A New Day." No mistaking. More upbeat smooth jazz is heard on "Deja Blue." Movin' and Grooving' gets
"Pink Slip."
The last two tracks, "Inevitable" and "One Moment More" slows the down pace, as compared to the upbeat tracks previous.
"Inevitable" is just beautiful in sound, and "One Moment More" soft sounds is a great way to end the album.
A great Smooth Jazz album, Cindy Bradley's Uncscripted is a great upbeat Jazz album to listen to, for any setting. Not only is she gifted
musically, she has also co-wrote most of the songs on this album. A great way to showcase your talent, both musically, and songwriting. More of her
albums will be reviewed here. Unscripted is her first here, on WSVNRadio.net. As of this date, she has a total of 5, starting in 2007.
She has had at least #1 song from every album, except from her first two. Unscripted (2011), Bliss (2014) and Natural (2017).
SHe has yet to accomplish a #1 Jazz album, but hopefully that can change with her future releases. She has also accomplished many Jazz awards.
In all, her music is definitely worth listening to,
enjoying, and collecting.
